So I just went over my last entry and found a spelling mistake! AHOY. Do you know how much that gets me in the heart? Tres Mucho. I'm kind of obsessed with correct spelling when I'm chatting to someone, posting on their wall, emailing, or in this case...BLOGGING. I think it comes from the need to semi stand out. So many people misspell and its so frustrating because their losing their ability to write something intelligent. People are so lazy! I shouldn't talk, but at least I take the time to go over and correct things because to me, it matters. No one writes letters anymore, well some people do, and I worship those people. I actually don't, but I really should start. I do like the convenience of an email of facebook, because you know that if that person goes on regularly, they'll get your message and all is good in the world. Even in the real world it bugs the hell out of me. I always correct my friends grammar and they get so mad, but little do they know, I am helping them. My mom always corrected my grammar and it drove me crazy, but I thank her now because I talk like I know what I'm talking about. Or I sound like I know at least. Living in Lindsay, you hear a lot of "Oh yeah, I seen that..." EW. No! That's what gets me in the heart, that's how you know who is from a small town and who isn't. I always used to correct my friend Dylan's speech and he would get SO steeping mad. But I'm guessing he probably speaks a little better now, thanks to me. So here I go, tooting my own horn here. I don't mean to be, I'm nothing close to being perfect when it comes to spelling etc. Just yesterday I was reading some old diary entries from last year, and oh my, it was actually funny the words I misspelled and things that didn't make sense. Alrighty, the long and short of this is, stop using short cuts! Such as: LOL, LMAO, BRB, C U L8TER, Wassup, ROFL...and so on and so forth. LOL is the downfall of our society.
